Wow what a weekend! Went for my brother-in-law’s 40th birthday and never wanted to leave. Craigstone Castle is an amazing place everything you could ever dream for a break in Scotland. A combination of the atmosphere of Outlander and Downton Abbey, Craigstone Castle surpasses all expectations.

During restoration of the downstairs entrance hall the floor had to be taken up. We drew a map of the jigsaw of different sized flag stones. Some of the flag stones were over 10 inches thick and proved an interesting challenge to lift!
