Warm-hearted hospitality in an authentic and idyllic location. From the moment you enter the Castle you are transported back in time and greeted by the lovely Elisabetta who made us feel like castle owners for a weekend. We rented Craigston Castle for a group of 10 friends that wanted to experience the Scottish atmosphere and traditional activities but got much more than we bargained for. The lovely surroundings of the castle are perfect for jogging and exploration and the local pub is full of stories. Here you will find something for everyone and it is the perfect getaway. We are truly indebted to William for opening up this house for others, Elisabetta’s hospitality and of course to the chef, Nelson, who made our stay most welcome and we certainly look forward to returning again in the not too distant future.
