This summer we stayed for 5 nights at Craigston Castle with friends. It is a magical historical place with authentic interiors, beautiful bedrooms and bathrooms. The castle is situated in a very scenic and peaceful part of Scotland and ideal for friends or family reunions. The location is perfect for short excursions and hikes in the surroundings including Whiskey distilleries.

Elisabetta and William are incredibly welcoming and helpful hosts who took excellent care and made us immediately feel at home. The children particularly enjoyed playing hide and seek in the enchanted rooms and playing soccer on the big lawn in front of the castle.

Our teenage children and us did not want to leave and hope to come back next year.
