I organised a driving holiday round Scotland for my Father’s 75th Birthday. To round off our trip I organised a nights stay in Craigston Castle. From the first contact with Elisabetta the property manager I was made to feel welcome and none of my many requests were too difficult. Elisabetta helped me organise a stunning Black tie dinner catered by the Fife arms and an archery competition in the grounds of the castle. Rounding off a fine evening with a whiskey in the grand drawing room the whole event was truly special and memorable. The Castle is simply stunning. Makes sure to request a trip to the roof to see the views. It’s obviously ancient but still manages to be warm, homely and comforting. I could not recommend a stay at Craigston more highly.
