Craigston Castle is truly a magical place! From the moment you walk in the door, you are greeted by magnificent history and the warmth and beautiful surroundings of the present. We stayed three nights for a family celebration, and both grown-ups and kids loved every moment of exploring the castle and its grounds. Elisabetta welcomed us to Craigston in the best way possible, and was the perfect host both before and during our stay. We did a private whisky tasting with food-pairing at the castle, which I highly recommend! Elisabetta provided us with everything we needed from the herb and vegetable garden for cooking, and chef Grant prepared a wonderful birthday dinner to top off our stay. We are grateful that William and his family let us experience staying in their extraordinary home, a true highlight of our Scottish vacation!
