Scottish Highlands make the “top 20 travel experiences” category

National Geographic today announced its picks for “Best of the World 2024”, the brand’s annual guide of the most exciting, meaningful, and one-of-a-kind travel experiences for 2024.

Scotland was selected in the “Top 20 Travel Experiences” category with “Ride Classic Rails in Scotland”  ranked number 14 on the list.

“Exploring Scotland’s wild, scenic Highlands doesn’t have to mean roughing it.

The Royal Scotsman train glides among the moody lochs and dramatic peaks in style. “
